Responsibilities

• Participates in patient care under supervision and in collaboration with healthcare team.
• Measures and records vital signs and reports abnormalities.
• Assists in clinic flow: patient arrival, procedures, scheduling, and follow-up.
• Prepares patients for examination and treatment; assists with procedures.
• Observes for signs of abuse/neglect and reports per policy.
• Responds to emergencies per organizational policy.
• Performs simple procedures and dressing changes as permitted.
• Administers prescribed medications/vaccines per policy.
• Documents clinical tasks and test results in the medical record.
• Maintains patient privacy and secure computer screens.
