My Access Medical Clinic is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. The role involves supporting patient visits, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with procedures under provider supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Current, unrestricted LPN license in the applicable state and active.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and clinical equipment/supplies.
• Understanding of basic laboratory procedures and screening.
• Knowledge of infectious disease management and safety standards.
• Ability to read and follow medical orders accurately.
• Strong multitasking and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and patient-centered approach.
• Ability to collaborate on an interdisciplinary team.
• Professional work ethic with strong relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Support patient visits by monitoring vital signs, obtaining medical history, assisting with minor procedures, phlebotomy, and direct patient care under provider guidance.
• Administer medications and vaccinations safely and accurately per clinic policies.
• Perform point-of-care testing and enter orders for labs and diagnostics in the EMR.
• Document patient care thoroughly, including changes in condition and medications administered.
• Use EMR for clinical/administrative tasks, including entering charges and updating records.
• Educate and support patients and families with health information and wellness guidance.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
