Job summary

West-Tennessee-Healthcare in Tennessee is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide hygienic care and assist with assigned procedures for patients across age groups under supervision. Mandatory HS diploma and BLS certification within orientation; prior experience preferred but training available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within orientation and kept current.
• Experience is preferred but on-the-job training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Answers call lights and records vital signs per unit spec.
• Assists with admissions, repositioning every two hours, and meals.
• Documents intake/output and patient care activities accurately.
• Assembles charts, enters orders into EMR, and notifies licensed personnel.
• Assists with transport and maintains department tidiness and stock.
• Records baths, turns, oral intake, weight, and telemetry-related data.
