Job summary

Atrium Health High Point Medical Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for the Nursing Float Pool to deliver direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.

This full-time position requires completion of an approved Practical Nursing program, NC LPN licensure, and BLS. The role features 36 hours per week across 3 twelve-hour shifts, with 4 weekend shifts every 6 weeks, and a pay range of $25.30–$37.95.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved Practical Nursing program.
• LPN license issued by the state of North Carolina.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification to be obtained within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care per policies and standards.
• Assist with data collection and charting, report changes to RN.
• Assist with care planning and implementation under RN supervision.
• Support patient teaching per plan of care.
• Document nursing interventions and patient responses.
