Smith Center Health and Rehab in Smith Center, KS, is hiring a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide comprehensive resident care. You will monitor residents, administer medications, and support a compassionate clinical team in a rehabilitation nursing setting.

You will follow physician orders, maintain HIPAA compliance, and supervise nursing assistants while ensuring accurate documentation and residency care plans. A strong bedside manner and commitment to elder care are essential.

Qualifications

• LPN licensure with the KS Board of Nursing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations.
• Desire to work with the elderly.
• Experience in medical, surgical, or geriatric nursing is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide total care for residents and monitor their condition.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Ensure narcotic policies and procedures are followed.
• Oversee nursing assistant staff to ensure care plans are followed.
• Complete documentation and admit/discharge residents.
• Report changes in residents' condition and maintain confidentiality.
