Job summary

Smith Center Health and Rehab in Smith Center, KS is hiring a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinical team. You will provide total care for residents, follow physician orders, administer medications, monitor for side effects, and help maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• LPN licensure with KS Board of Nursing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Desire to work with the elderly.
• Experience in medical, surgical, or geriatric nursing is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide total care for residents and monitor their condition.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; follow narcotic policies.
• Oversee nursing assistant staff to ensure care plans are followed.
• Complete documentation and report changes in residents' condition.
