Job summary

Good Samaritan in Brainerd, MN is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care in long-term care settings under supervision. The role requires administering medications, following care plans, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure residents' health, safety, and comfort.

The schedule is 6:00am to 2:30pm, with every other weekend and holiday. A graduate of an accredited LPN program with a valid license is required; associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and hold a valid LPN license.
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred but not required.
• Current licensure and ongoing CEU/competency maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care.
• Administer medications or treatments as ordered and document outcomes.
• Communicate with residents, families and care teams to ensure safety and quality care.
• Maintain confidentiality and participate in interdisciplinary team care.
