Job summary

Affordable Family Care Services - Greensboro is seeking a compassionate caregiver to join our team. The candidate should have a can-do attitude, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to provide varying levels of support to our clients in Greensboro, NC.

The role focuses on helping elderly clients with daily living activities, medication reminders, meal planning, mobility assistance, and light housekeeping in a home-based care setting. A CNA certification and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Access to reliable transportation to and from work.
• Your vehicle must be insured.
• You must have a valid drivers license.
• You will need a current TB clearance.
• Your CNA Certificate
• You must pass a Background & Drug check & be E-Verify employable.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs.
• Remind clients to take prescribed medication.
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctors appointments, walks etc.).
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Complete clients shopping or accompany them to successfully do so.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
• Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary.
