Job summary

Right at Home in Dyer, IN is seeking experienced caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home care. You’ll follow clear plans, communicate well, and receive support to do your best work.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, meals, light housekeeping, and medication reminders, plus dementia care. Schedule typically 2/3 days per week; must have 1+ year experience, a valid driver’s license, and be able to pass background checks.

• 1+ year caregiving experience.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
• Support daily needs: meals, light housekeeping, and medication reminders.
• Provide hands-on care for bed-bound clients, including bathing, repositioning, and hygiene.
• Care for clients with dementia, Parkinson's, and other conditions.
• Maintain patience and professionalism, even during challenging situations.
