Job summary

Right at Home Merrillville, IN is seeking experienced caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home care. You’ll work with clients in their homes, following clear care plans, staying in close contact with families, and relying on strong team support.

Caregivers with 1+ year experience, a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation can apply. The role offers flexible day and evening shifts, paid training, mileage reimbursement, and a supportive environment focused on patient dignity and quality

Qualifications

• 1+ year of caregiving experience.
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
• Support daily needs: meals, light housekeeping, and medication reminders.
• Provide hands-on care for bed-bound clients, including bathing, repositioning, and hygiene.
• Care for clients with dementia, Parkinson’s, and other conditions.
• Maintain patience and professionalism, even during challenging situations.
