Dovida – Jacksonville is seeking a Live-In Caregiver to provide personalized in-home support and companionship in clients’ homes. The role involves daytime assistance with ADLs and overnight presence, under a rotating schedule with another caregiver.

We offer a private bedroom, shared living spaces, and benefits such as insurance, telehealth, mental health counseling, and overtime pay for applicable hours.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Caregiver, CNA, HHA, or related training is a plus.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to complete required background checks, work-authorization verification, and health screenings.

Responsabilidades

• Help with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility.
• Support safe movement and transfers.
• Prepare meals, hydration, and daily routines.
• Light housekeeping and laundry for a clean home.
• Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
• Medication reminders per care plan and duties.
• Follow care plan and report changes to the team.
• Maintain safety, dignity, privacy, independence, and preferences.
• Communicate effectively with care team and family.
