Calm Seas Counseling Services is actively seeking a dedicated and culturally competent Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. Work Environment

This position is based in a community health clinic setting, offering a flexible remote work arrangement that allows you to consult with clients from the comfort of your home. Our operating hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with potential flexibility to accommodate client needs. The clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to facilitate seamless communication and maintain accurate electronic health records, ensuring efficient service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand patients' individual experiences, strengths, and challenges, and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, adjusting your approach to suit the unique cultural and personal contexts of each client.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing skills in active listening, empathy, and evidence-based practices to foster connection and healing.
• Collaborate actively with multidisciplinary team members such as psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to deliver coordinated, holistic care.
• Offer timely crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring that patients receive the help they need when they need it most.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation that adheres to legal and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A valid and current license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
• Thorough understanding of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and evidence-based practices, with a focus on cultural competence.
• Experience delivering individual and group therapy, ideally incorporating culturally responsive methods.
• Exceptional crisis intervention skills and the ability to remain composed in high-stakes situations.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual compensation for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
