Yona Eagle is seeking a Laundry Aide to join our team in Maryland. The role involves handling soiled and clean linen, operating commercial washers and dryers, and delivering laundry with a focus on friendly, resident-centered service.

Experience is not required, but preferred. The position emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and adherence to safety and quality standards in a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions for mixing cleaning compounds and disinfectants.
• Ability to work independently.
• Flexibility, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively with residents and personnel.
• Must provide a criminal background check.
• Laundry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts.
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers.
• Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers.
• Folds clean, dry linen and places into clean carts.
• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory.
• Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing.
• Maintains equipment and laundry areas, keeping them neat, orderly, and safe.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.
• Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs.
• Delivers laundry as specified.
• Puts Customer Service First: ensures customers and families receive high-quality service in a caring atmosphere.
