Yona Eagle in New Jersey is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide to join our team. Experience is not required, but preferred; we value motivated, compassionate individuals who provide warm, friendly service to residents, visitors and coworkers in a clean, caring environment.

Responsibilities include operating commercial washers and dryers, transporting linens, sorting, folding and distributing laundry, maintaining inventory, and following all policies.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to work independently.
• Flexibility, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively with the residents and personnel.
• Laundry experience is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts.
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers.
• Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers.
• Proceeds to fold clean, dry linen and place into clean carts.
• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory.
• Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing.
• Maintains equipment and the laundry areas, cleans and keeps areas neat, orderly and safe.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.
• Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs.
• Delivers laundry as specified.
• Puts Customer Service First: Ensures that customers and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individual's needs and rights.
