Complete Care at Berkshire (2) in Reading, PA is seeking a Laundry Aide to join our team. You will handle linens, operate commercial washers/dryers, and maintain clean, organized laundry spaces while providing friendly service to residents, visitors, and coworkers.

No prior laundry experience required, but preferred; compensation includes benefits and opportunities for growth in a caring, community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to work independently and with residents.
• Flexibility, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
• Must provide a criminal background check.
• Laundry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts.
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers.
• Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers.
• Proceeds to fold clean, dry linen and place into clean carts.
• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory.
• Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing.
• Maintains equipment and the laundry areas, cleans and keeps areas in a neat orderly and safe manner.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.
• Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs.
• Delivers laundry as specified.
• Puts Customer Service First: Ensures that customers and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individual's needs and rights
