Care Initiatives is seeking a Laundry Aide to support our healthcare residents in a compassionate, efficient manner. This role handles laundry for residents and facility linens, following safety and infection-control guidelines while maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Responsibilities include sorting, washing, drying, folding, labeling, and distributing laundry per schedules, and working with the team to ensure resident comfort and a positive environment.

Qualifications

• Prior laundry experience.
• Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner.
• Compassion for long-term residents and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing and linens.
• Operate laundry equipment safely following infection prevention guidelines.
• Keep laundry area clean and organized and label items properly.
• Follow schedules and task lists to support daily operations.
• Work with team to maintain resident comfort and facility cleanliness.
• Interact respectfully with residents, families, and coworkers.
