Job summary

Spring Creek Rehab in Murray, Kentucky is seeking a Kentucky Medication Aide (KMA) to join our care team. You will assist with medication administration under supervision, monitor vital signs, and support personal care tasks to help deliver high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate has a state-approved KMA training, current Kentucky KMA certification, a high school diploma, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Completion of a state-approved KMA training program
• Currently certified as a KMA in the state of Kentucky
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift, push, and pull patients and equipment, as needed

Responsibilities

• Assist with medication administration under the supervision of a licensed nurse or physician, including medication preparation, distribution, and documentation
• Monitor and record patient vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Perform other designated tasks as needed to support the delivery of patient care
