Responsibilities

• Provide food and fresh water following feeding instructions and schedules.
• Maintain clean, sanitary kennels and care areas.
• Monitor animals for changes in appetite, behavior, activity or condition and report concerns.
• Assist with walks, exercise and positive interaction to support comfort.
• Help maintain an organized environment for incoming and departing animals.
• Communicate care information to team members to support continuity of care.
• Follow hospital sanitation, safety and handling procedures.
