UT Southwestern Medical Center is hiring Multiple Patient Care Technician opportunities in MedSurg Surgical Acute Oncology. Full-time with shifts 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am, on-site at our Dallas campus. The role supports nursing staff, tracks vital signs, and assists with patient rounding and environment safety.

Required is a high school diploma; BLS certification is expected within 6 months. A CNA or residency-pathway can fulfill the experience options; strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• English communication and basic computer skills are essential.
• BLS certification or equivalent is required within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under nursing direction with validated competencies.
• Monitor and document patient data (vital signs, intake/output) and report changes.
• Assist with patient rounding and communicate changes to the nurse promptly.
