Job summary

Mental Health Resource Center, Inc. seeks Behavioral Health Assistants to provide compassionate, competency-based care in inpatient units for children, adolescents, and adults.

The role supports safety, order, and a therapeutic environment with emphasis on documentation, teamwork, and patient well-being. Typical responsibilities include monitoring patients, assisting with ADLs, and performing regular safety checks under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA/EMT/Paramedic certification preferred.
• One year of direct patient care experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Monitor behaviors and document observations in patient records.
• Provide supportive interactions to help patients achieve goals.
• Assist with ADLs and hygiene according to patient needs.
• Ensure daily schedule is followed and safety checks are performed regularly.
• Assist with vital signs under RN supervision.
