Job summary

AM WELL ASSISTANCE SOLUTIONS LLC in Hermon, ME is seeking compassionate Personal Support Specialists to provide non-medical in-home care to seniors and individuals with disabilities. You will help clients maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life in their own homes.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, mobility, light housekeeping, meals, companionship, errands, and reporting changes to supervisors.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, reliable, and dedicated individuals are sought for in-home care.
• Must be able to provide non-medical support to seniors and individuals with disabilities.
• Certification as Maine PSS is required or willingness to complete training.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care for ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene).
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal planning/prep according to dietary needs.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in activities and hobbies.
• Escort clients to appointments and assist with errands.
• Observe changes in health and communicate updates to supervisor.
