Job summary

Access Healthcare Staffing & Recruitment in Las Vegas seeks compassionate Personal Care Assistants to provide in-home support to adults in Clark County. You will help with ADLs, meals, errands, and monitoring health and safety.

The role emphasizes dignity, independence, and confidentiality under HIPAA; require high school or equivalent, 18+, and driver license; prior PCA experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School education or the equivalent.
• Two years PCA experience preferred.
• Valid Nevada Driver’s License.
• Valid Auto Insurance.
• Verifiable references (minimum of 3).
• Current physical and TB screen (within the last 12 months).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to prepare a balanced meal/medically prescribed diet.
• Knowledge of basic safety with medical equipment (wheelchairs, hospital beds, walkers, cane, oxygen).
• Knowledge of client confidentiality and HIPAA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care Assistance – Help clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other hygiene tasks while preserving dignity.
• Meal Preparation – Plan and prepare meals per dietary needs.
• Housekeeping Duties – Clean kitchens and bathrooms, dust, vacuum, change linens, and laundry.
• Errands & Shopping – Assist with groceries, prescriptions, and essential errands.
• Safety & Well-being Monitoring – Observe health or living condition changes and report to supervisors.
• Record-Keeping – Maintain accurate service time logs and client signatures.
• Compliance & Confidentiality – Follow HIPAA and safety guidelines, including PPE.
