Job summary

Visiting Angels of Bryan is hiring an In Home Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to support clients across Central Texas, including Bryan and surrounding communities. You will assist with personal care, light housekeeping, meals, transportation, and companionship, following each client’s care plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Training in First Aid and emergency response is required (provided if needed).
• Have excellent time-management and can juggle multiple duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Support mobility and accompany clients on appointments.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Handle light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or unusual incidents.
• Provide companionship and monitor safety.
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips.
• Remind clients to take medications as prescribed.
• Assist with mobility and errands as needed.
