Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Hospice Aide to provide compassionate in-home care for patients, supporting their families and ensuring comfort and dignity in the final days. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary hospice team to address physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, helping patients live with joy and purpose at home.

Certification as a CNA is highly preferred, with CPR certification required. Experience with state requirements for aide licensure or Nurse Aide training plus 24 months of

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant highly preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
• In states where licensure is not required, must meet one of the following: licensed/certified aide or completed nurse aide training and 24 months continuous employment.

• Provide comfort care to patients enabling them to remain at home with their loved ones.
• Work as a member of the hospice team to meet each patient’s unique physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
