Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Hospice Aide to provide compassionate, at-home care to patients and support their families. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary hospice team to meet each patient’s physical, emotional, and spiritual needs with dignity and comfort.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred) you will assist with daily activities, monitor conditions, and coordinate with nurses to ensure safety and quality of life. CPR certification is required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant preferred and licensed/certified aide where required.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comfort care to patients in home settings as part of the hospice team.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and basic comfort measures.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the nurse in charge.
• Contribute to a calm, compassionate environment for patients and families.
