Job summary

The Employee Connect is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to join our growing team in Irving, Texas. This full-time, field-based role requires traveling to client homes to provide essential personal care and support to elderly and disabled individuals in the community.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, empathy, and a commitment to maintaining clients’ dignity and safety. A current HHA/CNA is preferred, with flexibility to work various shifts and reliable

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months of direct personal care experience preferred.
• Current HHA or CNA certification preferred but not required for all positions.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene tasks (bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care).
• Support mobility (transfers, repositioning, safe ambulation).
• Prepare meals and snacks per guidelines.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean home.
• Monitor and report changes to supervising staff.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with medication reminders as directed.
• Accompany to appointments or activities as needed.
• Maintain accurate care documentation using tools or electronic systems.
• Follow safety and infection control protocols.
