Job summary

Herewith is seeking compassionate and dependable Care Partners to support dialysis patients in-home across Chicago. You will help set up equipment, ensure safety, and monitor wellbeing during treatment with NxStage, Tablo or equivalent devices.

You’ll be matched with patients based on skills and personality, and you will be supported by a clinical team to ensure high-quality care. The role offers consistent weekly hours and $25/hour, with training and placement assistance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with dialysis machines.
• Prior experience supporting dialysis patients (home or clinical setting).
• Preferred: Familiarity with home dialysis machines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct & support patient setup for dialysis treatments (NxStage, Tablo or equivalent machines).
• Provide companionship, emotional reassurance, and ensure schedule adherence.
• Monitor safety and assist with light activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Maintain communication with clinic nurses and care coordinators.
• Document concerns or changes observed during support hours.
