Preferred Care at Home of Champlain Valley is seeking compassionate in-home caregivers to support clients in Waitsfield and surrounding areas. This role provides daily living assistance, meal prep, light housekeeping, companionship, and transportation support as needed.

We offer flexible part- or full-time shifts with competitive pay up to $28 per hour and weekly pay. No formal training required; we provide opportunities to learn and grow within a supportive environment.

Qualifikationen

• Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow care plans and communicate effectively with clients, families, and supervisors.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable personality.
• Physical ability to perform caregiving tasks
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred for certain clients.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Provide assistance with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).
• Assist clients with mobility and transfers, including assistive devices.
• Perform light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, tidying).
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
• Offer companionship and engage in meaningful activities.
• Monitor and report changes in health, behavior, or needs to supervisors.
• Provide medication reminders and ensure adherence to care plans.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or social activities.
