Job summary

ameriCARE Marin is seeking a compassionate caregiver for an ongoing client assignment in San Rafael, CA. You will provide one-on-one support in the client's home, helping him stay safe, comfortable, and as independent as possible.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM, about 20 hours per week. Prior home care or CNA/HHA experience is a plus; reliable transportation to San Rafael is preferred to ensure consistent coverage.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and dependable caregiver with client-centered approach.
• Experience in home care and familiarity with ADLs preferred.
• Reliable transportation to San Rafael preferred for consistent coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one companionship and conversation.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care as needed.
• Support mobility and safety in the client’s home.
• Prepare meals and remind about medications.
• Perform light housekeeping related to the client’s care.
• Observe and report changes to the ameriCARE care team.
