HHAs will work under the supervision of healthcare professionals to provide essential personal care and support to patients in their homes. The ideal candidate has a caring demeanor, a desire to help people, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients and their families.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing.
• Provide assistance with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Support patients with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation as needed.
• Observe and report changes in the patient's condition to the supervising nurse or healthcare team.
• Follow care plans provided by healthcare professionals and adhere to established protocols and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of patient care activities and report documentation as required.
• Foster a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and their families.
