Job summary

Gail's Homecare in Georgia is seeking a compassionate personal care assistant (PCA) to join our in-home care team. You will help clients with basic personal hygiene and domestic tasks, and document progress to support overall wellbeing.

Requirements include CPR/BLS and First Aid, a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of full-time healthcare experience (3–5 years preferred), strong English communication, and a valid driver's license. The role pays $13 per hour with PRN available.

Qualifications

• CPR/BLS and First Aid certification required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of full-time healthcare experience (3–5 years preferred).
• Experience in a home healthcare setting strongly preferred.
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Completion of at least 8 hours of personal care-related training annually.
• Ability to follow care plans and perform household tasks as needed.
• Physically able to lift and transfer clients; reliable and compassionate.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with basic personal hygiene and domestic tasks.
• Provide compassionate care and document progress to support wellbeing.
• Follow care plans accurately and communicate needs to supervisors.
• Assist with meals, medications, and light housekeeping as needed.
