Job summary

Amada Senior Care in Portland, Oregon is seeking compassionate CNAs and HCAs to join our in-home care team. We offer part-time hours, paid 8-hour training if needed, and the chance to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives.

Candidates should have at least two years of caregiver experience, be able to perform ADLs/IADLs, hold a valid driver's license with insurance, and be reliable, with strong communication and a commitment to high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Two years of professional caregiver experience preferred.
• Ability to lift/move patients with proper body mechanics.
• Valid driver’s license with proof of auto insurance.
• Reliable transportation to client locations.
• Ability to pass a criminal background and fingerprint check.
• Effective communication with seniors.
• Must be reliable and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Bathing, dressing, transferring, toileting, incontinence, feeding.
• Assisting with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs).
• Shopping, housekeeping, medication management, meal preparation.
• Following each client’s Care Plan.
