Job summary

Reliable Home Care Providers, Inc. seeks a compassionate caregiver to provide in-home support for an elderly female client in Mundelein, Illinois. The role emphasizes patient, dependable care, mobility assistance, and safe transfers. The client is nonverbal and uses an iPad communication app.

The schedule is part-time, 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM, two days per week, with 8 hours weekly. The position offers a benefits package and weekly pay, and requires reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Previous caregiving experience with mobility assistance preferred.
• Experience with safe transfers and personal care.
• Ability to lift and assist a client weighing approximately 90 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with transfers from bed to wheelchair/chair.
• Assist with toileting and hygiene.
• Prepare and assist with feeding lunch.
• Accompany the client outdoors and push the wheelchair for short walks around the neighborhood.
• Perform light housekeeping, including laundry, cleaning the bathroom and kitchen as needed.
• Provide companionship and respectful, attentive care.
• Observe and report any changes in the client's condition to the supervisor.
