Job summary

CareDiem Home Care in Palatine, IL is seeking compassionate, skilled caregivers to help clients live safely and independently at home. The role offers on-going 4-hour shifts on weekends or weekdays, with training and supportive office staff.

You will provide personal care, mobility assistance, meal prep, and companionship while using our care app to clock in/out and document visits. Weekly pay and benefits are part of the package.

Qualifications

• 1+ year caregiving experience (agency or private).
• CNA/HHA preferred but not required.
• Valid ID, SSN, or work authorization.
• TB test, background check, drug screen.
• CPR/First Aid (or willing to obtain).
• Reliable transportation preferred.
• Comfortable with smartphone apps.

Responsibilities

• Personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting).
• Mobility/transfers & fall prevention.
• Meal prep & light housekeeping.
• Medication reminders.
• Companionship & safety supervision.
• Use care app to clock in/out and document care.
