Job summary

Reliable Home Care Providers, Inc. seeks a compassionate caregiver to assist an elderly female client in Libertyville, IL. The role focuses on personal care, mobility support, meals, light housekeeping, and safety during daily activities.

The ideal candidate has prior experience caring for elderly clients, reliable and patient, with valid work authorization in the United States. Hours include mornings and early afternoons on Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, with additional shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience caring for elderly clients is required.
• Valid authorization to work in the United States.
• Experience assisting with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Ability to safely assist with mobility, including use of a walker and wheelchair.
• Reliable, dependable, patient, and compassionate.
• Ability to follow care instructions and communicate changes or concerns appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Assist the client with daily showers and personal hygiene.
• Support mobility; client uses a walker.
• Walk with the client outside for approximately one hour every day.
• Ensure the client's safety during walking and mobility.
• Serve prepared lunch and clean up after lunch.
• Perform light housekeeping, including bathroom and bedroom cleaning.
• Do laundry as needed.
• Observe the client's condition, mood, and behavior.
• Report any changes or concerns to the appropriate person.
