Happy to Help Caregiving - East Idaho provides compassionate, non-medical in-home care to help clients stay safe, comfortable, and independent at home. We offer companionship, personal care, respite care, and veteran-focused services, with a focus on dignity, respect, and dependable support.

We’re hiring caregivers in Soda Springs, Idaho, to work one-on-one in clients’ homes. You’ll help with mobility, daily activities, personal care, meals, transportation, and housework, while following

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Dependable, responsible, and trustworthy
• Comfortable with an active, hands-on work environment
• Comfortable assisting with personal care and mobility support
• Able to follow written care plans and verbal instructions accurately
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently while communicating with the office
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential
• Prior caregiving experience is a plus, but not required—character and reliability matter most

Responsibilities

• Assisting with mobility, transfers, and use of mobility aids
• Helping clients move around the home and complete daily activities
• Providing companionship and one-on-one interaction
• Assisting with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting
• Preparing meals and snacks per care plan
• Light housekeeping to maintain a safe living environment
• Providing transportation to appointments and errands
• Providing medication reminders per care plan
• Providing respite care for family caregivers
• Following care plans and documenting shifts
• Notifying the office of changes in client condition
• Supporting client independence and routines
