Job summary

Visiting Angels Abilene is seeking an In Home Caregiver - Housekeeper to support seniors in the Big Country area including Albany and nearby towns. You will provide compassionate companionship, light housekeeping, meal prep, and mobility assistance in clients' homes.

This role offers on-site shifts with flexible options (part-time and longer shifts), opportunities for training in dementia or Alzheimer's care, and the chance to grow your caregiving skills while giving back to the community.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medications as directed.
• Assist with ambulation and mobility around the home or outings.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene needs.
• Support clients with routine exercises and mobility activities.
• Plan and prepare meals with client input and dietary needs.
• Assist with shopping or accompany clients on errands.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report any unusual incidents promptly and participate in safety protocols.
