Job summary

ComForCare Home Health Care (North San Diego) is hiring an In Home Caregiver to join our San Diego team in CA. You will provide compassionate, personalized care to clients in their homes, supporting daily living activities and ensuring comfort and safety.

We value reliability, empathy, and strong communication. Duties include assisting with bathing, meals, mobility, transportation, and companionship, while maintaining client dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or related field preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable demeanor.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and assisting with transfers.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and tidying.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure client safety.
• Administer medication reminders and monitor client health and well-being.
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and social activities.
• Document and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate supervisor.
