Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of caregiving experience in home care, home health, senior care, or a related setting.
• Compassion, patience, reliability, and genuine interest in caring for seniors.
• Ability to respect clients' preferences, privacy, and dignity.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow care instructions.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client assignments within Pearland, TX.
• Willingness to work different schedules depending on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including personal care, bathing, dressing, and mobility as needed.
• Support clients living with dementia or memory loss.
• Assist with safe lifting, positioning, and transfers when required.
• Provide feeding assistance and support clients with feeding tubes as appropriate and within their training.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
• Accompany clients on outings, appointments, and other activities.
• Follow individual care plans and communicate important updates to families and the care team.
• Provide support during extended shifts or live-in care assignments when needed.
