Job summary

A Place at Home – Pearland, TX is seeking a compassionate caregiver to support clients with daily needs, maintain independence, and enhance quality of life in their homes.

Requirements include at least 2 years of caregiving experience, dementia care familiarity, and reliable communication with clients and families. Experience with WellSky is preferred; transportation may be needed for client outings.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of caregiving experience.
• Experience supporting clients with dementia or memory loss.
• Knowledge of WellSky for caregiver scheduling, shift documentation, and clock-in/clock-out.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to build trust with clients.
• Good communication skills and reliability.
• Ability to follow care instructions and respect client dignity.
• Willingness to assist with outings and provide companionship.
• Reliable transportation preferred for outings.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
