Job summary

Home Instead is hiring caregivers across Sonoma County, with most client opportunities in Santa Rosa, Rohnert Park, and Petaluma. You’ll provide one-on-one care in clients’ homes and assist with daily activities to keep clients safe and independent.

We offer flexible weekday, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts, with weekly pay and a range of benefits including paid orientation, paid training, holidays at 1.5x, medical/dental/vision, and mileage reimbursement. Driver’s license not required.

Qualifications

• Availability for at least two recurring shifts each week with the same client or clients
• Comfort providing hands-on personal care
• Ability to assist with transfers
• Basic English speaking, reading, and writing skills
• Ability to complete required compliance, registration, and licensing steps

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care in clients' homes
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care
• Support clients with safe mobility and transfers
• Prepare meals and complete light housekeeping
• Provide companionship and help clients stay safe and independent at home
