Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene, mobility, meals, shopping, and light housekeeping, plus reporting incidents and ensuring safety. A valid driver’s license and reliable transport are required, with flexible shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Must be compassionate and dependable.
• Driver’s license and reliable transport required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents.
• Remind clients to take prescribed medication and assist with mobility.
• Help with mobility around the house or outside, including doctor’s appointments and walks.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene, plan and prepare meals.
• Complete client shopping or accompany them to do so, and perform housekeeping duties.
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Offer activities essential for daily living and assist with meals if necessary.
