Job summary

Senior Helpers of the Palm Beaches is seeking compassionate caregivers to help clients stay independent at home in West Palm Beach, FL. This role emphasizes daily living support, companionship, and respectful communication with clients and staff, with flexible scheduling and ongoing training to enhance skills and career growth.

You will assist with ADLs, provide emotional support, perform light housekeeping, and coordinate with family and care teams to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• CNA license or HHA certification required.
• BLS Card or First Aid and CPR Card required.
• Availability: 9am-1pm or 9am-5pm, 7 days a week.
• Level 2 Background check.
• Available Sunday mornings.
• In-Service certificates beneficial.
• Caring and compassionate nature essential.
• Willingness to learn new skills to best assist clients.
• Experience in healthcare or home care a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as assigned
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Perform light household tasks (meal prep, tidying)
• Communicate effectively with staff and clients
