Job summary

Senior Helpers in Mississippi is looking for an In-Home Caregiver to provide essential support to clients in their own homes, helping them maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life.

You will assist with daily living activities, offer companionship, help with meals and medications, and accompany clients to appointments. The role offers flexible scheduling and a range of benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid training, orientation, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with elderly clients preferred.
• Experience assisting seniors with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting.
• Understanding of dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and memory-related conditions is a plus.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with meal preparation and medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry and linen changes.
• Accompany clients to appointments and outings.
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior.
