Job summary

Decena Home Care, LLC is seeking a dedicated caregiver for an on-site, full-time role in Northern Virginia. You will provide homemaker tasks, private duty care, companionship, and 24-hour support in clients' homes, ensuring comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include meal prep, medication reminders, personal care, and health monitoring. Valid US work authorization, CNA/PCA/HHA certification, CPR/First Aid, and a valid driver's license are required. Sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

2+ years caregiving or related field experience
US work authorization required
Ability to provide personal care including bathing, grooming and toileting
Experience with medication reminders and vital signs monitoring
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to provide companionship and engage clients in activities
Reliability and punctuality; flexible hours preferred
Valid driver's license required
Valid CPR and First Aid certification required
CNA/PCA/HHA certification preferred

Responsibilities

Homemaker tasks: grocery shopping, errands, light housekeeping, cooking, meal prep, laundry and ironing
Private duty care: medication reminders, bathing and oral hygiene assistance, toileting and incontinence care, dressing and grooming
Companionship: conversation, reading, games, walks and safety supervision
Travel companion: assist clients during trips with safety supervision
24 Hour / Overnight care: routine support and tuck-in before bedtime
Palliative care: pain and symptom management, emotional support
