Job summary

MD Home Care is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical home care and companionship in Western Cuyahoga and Eastern Lorain County Communities. We offer part-time and full-time opportunities with a flexible schedule and competitive pay of $18 per hour.

Caregivers help with daily routines, meals, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments. Earn stay bonuses up to $400 in your first 6 months and referral bonuses for qualified hires.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional individuals.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Genuine interest in supporting older adults.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required.
• Personal or family caregiving experience is valued.
• Reliable transportation to client assignments.
• Ability to pass required background checks.
• Valid driver's license and appropriate auto insurance for transportation assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
• Assist with daily routines and non-medical activities.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social activities.
• Offer respite and support for family caregivers.
• Encourage independence, social engagement, and quality of life.
