Job summary

Comfort Keepers is hiring compassionate caregivers to help older adults live safely and joyfully at home in Northeast Ohio. Flexible schedules, paid training, mileage reimbursement, and weekend/overnight differential pay are offered.

You will provide companionship, meal prep, light housekeeping, and assist with ADLs, while building meaningful relationships with clients and their families. Training and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Compassion for helping older adults.
• Patience and reliability in caregiving.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; background check required.
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments; driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical care: companionship, meal prep, light housekeeping, safety support
• Assist with ADLs such as bathing, grooming, and safe mobility (training provided)
• Engage with clients - doing tasks with them, not just for them
• Bring joy by participating in activities they enjoy conversation, hobbies, shared tasks, or outings
• Build trusted, respectful relationships with clients and their families
• Communicate observations and updates to the office
