Job summary

Amivie is seeking a caregiver to provide compassionate, dependable, person-centered support in clients' homes and communities. You will assist with daily living activities, personal care, companionship, homemaking, and safety tasks according to each client’s care plan.

The ideal candidate is patient, respectful, and reliable, with strong communication and the ability to work independently while staying connected to the care team.

Qualifications

• Comfort assisting with personal care and daily living needs.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Prior caregiving experience (PCA, CNA, DSP, or direct support) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support, including assistance with dressing, grooming, bathing, eating, toileting, mobility, positioning, and transfers.
• Assist with daily routines that support client comfort, independence, and dignity.
• Provide companionship and meaningful engagement to reduce isolation and support emotional well-being.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, errands, and other homemaker tasks as assigned.
• Support safe mobility, including walking, transferring, turning, positioning, and use of approved assistive equipment when appropriate.
• Provide medication reminders or assistance with pre-dosed medications within role guidelines and applicable regulations.
• Observe and report changes in client condition, behavior, needs, or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Follow each client’s individualized care plan and document services accurately and timely.
• Maintain client confidentiality and uphold professional boundaries.
• Communicate respectfully with clients, families, supervisors, and care team members.
• Promote a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for every person supported.
