Job summary

Comfort Keepers San Diego is hiring compassionate caregivers to provide in-home, one-on-one care for seniors in the San Diego County area. You will help with daily activities, safety, and independence in the home, based on client needs.

Roles include flexible part-time and full-time shifts, mileage reimbursement, and opportunities for growth within the company. Training and ongoing skills development are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, one-on-one non-medical care to seniors at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living (hygiene, mobility, transfers).
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
• Provide medication reminders and transportation to appointments.
• Support clients with dementia or cognitive/behavioral health needs.
• Observe and report changes in client condition to care team.
