Job summary

Comfort Keepers San Diego is seeking compassionate caregivers to help local seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home. You will provide one-on-one care, companionship, and support with daily activities on a schedule that fits you.

Pay ranges from $18.50 to $25.00 per hour, with weekend/overnight shifts offering higher pay. We offer weekly pay, mileage reimbursement, and a range of benefits to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and transfers.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with transportation to appointments and errands.
• Support clients living with dementia or other cognitive challenges.
• Observe and report changes in a client’s condition.
